PROGRAM NOTES
Shadowfall was originally written for battery trio under the title Banish the Dark in the collection “Triology.”It has been expanded here for larger percussion ensemble, which gives the pieces even more depth. Inspired by albums by London-based producer Al Wooton, this piece pieces features heart-thumping grooves that get passed around the ensemble. The easy-to-digest syncopation will make younger players sound like professionals in no time.
